ABOUT ME

I am a teacher by trade, and also a student. I love traveling and learning new things. I moved to New York City from Bogota, Colombia 3 years ago, to work on a Masters in International Educational Development. I am calm, quiet, responsible, healthy and happy. I like to go out, but I am not a party all night kind of person. I prefer to go out and eat a great meal and talk with good people. I thrive on change. I never stay in one place for too long.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hosted for a while when I lived in Colombia, and met great people, who became amazing friends. I am now in New York, and am open to hosting when I am not traveling myself.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couchsurfed and hosted travelers several times, before I was a member of this website. I have always loved meeting travelers and hearing their stories, as well as traveling and sharing my stories with others. There is a great energy that happens when you share time with new people, cooking, chatting, whatever.

I quit my job, sold all my possessions and hopped a plane to Bogotá, where I lived for 5 years, then did the same thing all over again and showed up in New York.
