To help children around the world ---> www.kinderaid.org
I am friendly, open-minded and laid-back person. I enjoy new experiences and challenges, and I'm always willing to learn about the cultures of other people. I graduated with a BBA in Economics and International Business from JU where I also rowed in the varsity team.
I am currently living in France as an au pair and it's great! I am learning the French language as well as the French culture and customs.
I love traveling and meeting new people and do it as often as I can (I find it easy to connect with people of other cultures because I have lived in Italy, Mexico, United States, and France). Though I lived in Italy for 3 years, I do not speak Italian since I was 9 months old when we moved there. But I am fluent in Spanish and English.
I am very active and like most sports (mountain biking, cycling, soccer, rowing, baseball, running, tennis, etc...)
I am a huge Apple fan. I own almost all their products so if you have any questions on how to use one of them, just ask me! I'm pretty sure I know more than most 'Apple Specialists' working at the Apple Stores :)
"If everyone is busy making everything, how can anyone perfect anything? We start to confuse convenience with joy, abundance with choice. Designing something requires focus. The first thing we ask: What do we want people to feel? Delight. Surprise. Love. Connection. Then we craft around our intention. It takes time. There are a thousand noâs for every yes. We simplify. We perfect. We start over, until everything we touch enhances every life it touches. Only then do we sign our work. - Designed by Apple in California."
Enjoy life! I want to have fun for a while before I have to go in to work and sit in my office all day, everyday...Taking this time to learn more languages and travel the world.
FAVORITE TRAVEL QUOTES:
"To travel is to live." - Hans Christian Andersen
"There are several ways to react to being lost. One is to panic. Another is to abandon yourself to lostness, to allow the fact that you've misplaced yourself to change the way you experience the world." - Audrey Niffenegger
"But that's the glory of foreign travel, as far as I am concerned. I don't want to know what people are talking about. I can't think of anything that excites a greater sense of childlike wonder than to be in a country where you are ignorant of almost everything. Suddenly you are five years old again. You can't read anything, you have only the most rudimentary sense of how things work, you can't even reliably cross a street without endangering your life. Your whole existence becomes a series of interesting guesses." - Bill Bryson
"Traveling is a brutality. It forces you to trust strangers and to lose sight of all that familiar comfort of home and friends. You are constantly off balance. Nothing is yours except the essential things: air, sleep, dreams, sea, the sky â all things tending towards the eternal or what we imagine of it." - Cesare Pavese
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
At the moment I can't invite people to my place but I can show you around Paris if you'd like.
Every CS experience I've had has been great (hosting and surfing)!

2011 - CSed through France following the Tour de France. Had great hosts and an awesome time!
2010 - Traveled around France and Spain during May 2010 with my sister. Had many great experiences and from now on will try to CouchSurf as much as I can in order to meet people from different places.
