explore, enjoy and protect the planet
I am an adventurous soul who enjoys walking or riding my bicycle into uncommon parts of the city. I am (perhaps most) content laying in the sun with a good book or music jamming. I live to explore and love hiking around the woods jumping over fallen logs. I enjoy laughing and being with other people who do too.. Being outside and breathing fresh air is when I am most at home (weather-permitting) which is probably how I found myself in Austin. I am employed as a personal trainer, but do not sense this is my passion in life. I'm very easy-going, like to get along with people and always enjoy learning new things. My bicycle is my one true love and if I could be any animal it would be any type of bird (pardon, any type of bird capable of flight (sorry penguins and ostriches)).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
stay in interesting places, meet interesting people and see how others live when traveling to new locales. all on the cheap.
also being on the receiving end of that (meet interesting people, let others peek into my world, while they visit an interesting place).
staring at treetops, sitting by the tracks watching trains go by, auditoriums after hours, walking with no destination in mind, lounging, being outdoors, bike rides, j-walking, topographic maps, cell phone-less days, warm beds and big blankets, photography, experiencing life lessons you only learn by fucking up, the journey between point a and point b, days without alarm clocks, waiting for thunderstorms, tennis, using big words incorrectly, vegetarianism, activism, people watching, laughing, girls riding road bikes, reading 'adopt a highway' signs, tunes, pedestrian bridges, meeting people, long walks, longer drives, pseudo-philosophizing, picking up recycling when others have failed to recycle, lentils, making to-do lists i won't follow, being sarcastic, and anything else that helps to waste time.
