I am an artist and writer of Chinese, Southeast Asian Iu-Mien, and Arabic lineage based in Singapore. Originally hailing from Guilin and Wuhan, China, I spent 2014-2022 in the USA, where I finished my Bachelor's degree in Art History and Studio Art and my master's degree in Aesthetics and Politics (Art Criticism) in Houston, Texas, and Los Angeles, California respectively. I am currently doing my PhD on a full scholarship at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, specializing in contemporary Asian art and theory, with a focus on the philosophical idea of non-confrontational resistance in Chinese video art.

I like traveling both because of my profession (artist) and of leisure. However, as a student, I can only travel on a limited budget. In addition, I also love the adventures of meeting new people through this traditional way of exchange and hospitality.
