About Me

ABOUT ME

Well if asked, most of my friends would describe me as crazy, funny, a little chaotic, sometimes moody, very open minded but also bullheaded in some cases, reliable, helpful. Actually my roommate (a girl) calls me "papa bear" =D

Interests

Well as most of the CS people do, I love to experience new things, of course. What I like most is to get to know different views on things to broaden my own horizon. So I spend a lot of time meeting friends and go out with them. Lately I focus my discussions on different types of relationships (there's a lot more than the common single/couple stuff) , but any social and/or political topic is welcome as well as music. I'll only come up with stuff like the new iPhone or the Twilight Saga to break the ice for some more interesting topic ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was doing civilian service I tended paraplegic people. Once I was moving a woman through the pedestrian precinct in her wheelchair. She couldn't move anything but her head. At that time, I was already quite familiar with her. We spotted two young boys (like 16 years old) sitting outside and drinking coffee. As we approach, the two stop chatting and just stare at us. I don't know if they had never seen a wheelchair before, but they were staring at us as if we came from outer space. Well that is exaclty the look, that makes disabled people so uncomfortable, 'cause they feel awkward then. So I decided to turn the tables and whispered to my lady not to get frightened, 'cause I was going to make some noise soon.

I waited until we were really close to the boys. And just as were only like 2 m next to them, I started barking short and loud like a dog twice "wouf, wouf" and moved on. Man, the look on their faces was priceless. We (me and the lady) were loughing the entire way home. Eventually she even got a spasticity a few seconds later, but we both agreed it was totally worth it.

Making that lady lough so hard created one of the best feelings in me that I ever had.
