I lived in Chile for a year teaching English and now I'm in Southeast Asia traveling and exploring a new corner of the world. I've always wanted to check out couch surfing abroad, I'm a great houseguest and I love meeting new people.
I studied Philosophy in university, love to discuss important/interesting/ridiculous topics.
Also, I am in the market for a quick motorbike tutorial....
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To travel off the beaten path and meet open minded people and their couches along the way.
Living sustainability; how do we come together in living communities that support each other and support the earth?
I love climbing mountains, writing, salt water, different languages, wine, live music, yoga, spoken word, old trees and a bunch of other things that give me the feels.
- rock climbing
Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to a lot of world music - love the Putumayo collections, especially anything from Mali. Shakey Graves, Lake Street Dive, String Cheese Incident, Odesza, Iron & Wine, Andrew Bird, Miles Davis...
Kurt Vonnegut is pretty awesome. So is Tolkien. So is Barbara Kingsolver. I read everything in my path.
Film, I like it artsy, usually. Or foreign. Or silly.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiked the Torres del Paine National Park in Patagonia, Chile. It was the bees knees.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Love to cook, always down to make a feast. I can teach you some Spanish or English or I can teach you how to teach other people a language.
I will share my chocolate if I have any.
