About Me

We are a young friendly couple, Monika and Modestas. Have we traveled a lot? No. Would we like to? Oh, we would just go crazy if we had the opportunity to travel the world.

I, Monika, am an English teacher and my boyfriend, Modestas, is a graduate of Political studies. This basically means, that he likes to discuss a lot and I like to correct his grammar (Kidding).

We are both very social and are very open-minded. Both excited about board games, bicycles and good music.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One day we were sitting at home, preparing for tomorrow's work and it just hit us that there are so many beautiful places that we haven't visited before, so many interesting people that we have never talked to...

It may sound like a cliche but we would rather become an old couple that has a hundred little magnets on their refrigerator from all over the world than to work, sit at home and see the best sides of the world on their computer screen.

We are not afraid of sharing experience therefore we gladly accept guests as well. Of course if you want to stay at our place, you have to love cats. Because our cat makes the decisions around the house.

Music, Movies, and Books

We love many styles and genres of music. If the song somehow connects with your soul - it's brilliant! (If not, it's probably still a good song if it's somewhere in between rock and indie).

As for the books: we love the classics.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing that we've done is that we found each other (and manage to get on planes, cause we are both afraid of flying).

What I Can Share with Hosts

We could share Lithuanian traditions, good sence oh humour, a bit of a traditional cuisine as well as a lot of funny stories.
