I don't care if your request is precisely chiseled onto my profile, or a rando copy paste message. There shouldn't be precious travel time wasted with writing endless personal requests. But it is of importance that in person you have a story and ideally are on an actual trip.

Here is a small selection of wisdom, that I encountered through the years. It's written mainly as a note to myself, in case should I forget one of these, I know where to find them. ;)
