About Me

Try something new. Err'day.

I am an easy going, up for anything kind of person. If you were to ask my friends, they would probably mention that I'm pretty goofy. I love laughing and having in-depth conversations with people. I feel comfortable in my own shoes and adapt to new situations well. Socializing and meeting new people is awesome because there are so many interesting stories to hear. I appreciate my alone time but love hanging out for a cup of tea. Or beer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well, I am new to this couch-surfing thing but it seems like it is the best way to experience cultures and people. I will hopefully get more experience with Couchsurfing by staying on others couches and exploring new cities.

I really enjoy food... a lot can be experienced and shared with food. Even cooking with someone can become magical by immersing yourself in new smells, techniques, flavors and conversation. With that being said, I used to be a pastry chef and really enjoy baking. I have recently divulged into vegan/raw/sugar-free/gluten-free baking.

I am also in love with rock climbing. I climb every week and enjoy the physical and mental workout. And camping. All the outdoors stuff really... I am in forestry for pete sake!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music and searching for new music online... if I were to name a few favourites... radiohead, sigur ros, the smiths, talking heads, hank williams, girltalk, david grey, and eddie veder, patrick watson, Nina Simone, grizzly bear, brian Jonestown massacre... the list goes on

Last book I read was by Rawi Hage

Star Wars, amelie, zoolander, Boone dock saints, anything by broken lizard group, the big lebowski, into the wild, gross point blank, any documentary
