ABOUT ME

Music motivates everything I do - I can't do anything without listening to music. I try to play my guitar for at least an hour everyday, though I do play a bit of everything - piano, guitar, bass, uke, melodica and I also like to sing.

I'm an active member of Toronto's music scene; I write for a music review website, and I manage two bands as well as am in a band myself.

I love my city though I always love exploring new cities as well.

PHILOSOPHY

I have a tendency to take on a leadership role in most situations, but that just makes those times that I'd rather take a back seat all the more relaxing. I am a firm believer that everyone is entitled to their own opinion as long as they're not cramming it down anyone's throat. I always want to hear everyone's story. and I'm most comfortable when I'm on my own in a crowd.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In my last house, we hosted quite a few couch surfers, but because there were already 6 of us living in one house, it was difficult for us to host all that often for too long. I wished we could've done it more though.

Currently I live alone in a very tiny bachelor apartment, so all I've got is my floor to offer until I move into my new place on August 1st 2013.

Intereses

Music: jamming with new people, jamming with friends.
Movies: particularly films by Wes Anderson as well as book and comic book adaptations.
Food: I'll try anything once.
Social Media, Yoga and arts and crafts also appeal to me.

Teach: I'm a social media wiz. And I hold my own with a guitar or on a piano. I'm also a major film file.

Learn: I just want to learn about people and culture more than anything else. I love stories that anyone is willing to share.

Share: I've got a few hilarious stories that I love to tell to anyone who's interested. Plus, I love sharing the amazing parts of my favourite city to anyone looking to explore.
