ABOUT ME

I moved to Seattle after college to work on a farm and ended up staying for 5 years. It was great!! I miss it but I moved back to New England where I was paid to take kids hiking all over the White Mountains; we learned about the forest together! I spent a winter exploring New Orleans, came back in the Whites for the spring/summer and taught 7th Grade in Boston. Now, I find myself back in my reach of my favorite place (the Whites), living/teaching in my new favorite place, Burke Vermont and exploring a new area (the NEK)!

PHILOSOPHY

Something like...life is really fun, keep finding adventures and remember that we need to help each other.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I lived at a collective house in Seattle, Bob The House!, where we hosted people from time to time. I really enjoyed living with a rotating group of 10-12 fun people and then having couch surfers over as well! In New Orleans I really enjoyed couchsurfing meet ups and hosting people for Mardi Gras!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted at my house and met lots of people my friends/neighbors were hosting. I met some great friends while they were visiting Seattle :)

I have also enjoyed CS meetups in New Orleans! ($1 tacos and potlucks woootwoot!) and hosted 4 lovely Canadians for Mardi Gras!

Interests

I like to read books, fall asleep to movies and dance to Beyonce.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent 6 months in New Zealand and 1 month in Western Samoa. A friend and I hitchiked, backpacked, WWOOFed and hung out. It was amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn a lot about organic farming, especially animals like pigs and goats. I like to go hiking and be outdoors together. I want to learn to rock climb, quilt, ski, speak spanish and so much more!

I like to share things... especially earrings and dresses :)
