About Me

CURRENT MISSION

sleep, survive, party, sleep,...

ABOUT ME

I usually don't like talking about myself, as it gives people the opportunity to discover the self centered smug i really am :D
but seriously, i just moved to vienna, austria to study medicine and to discover a city i have never been to before. and i love it ;) well, the part where i study can become pretty annoying but the nights and weekends are an acceptable payback. As various as my taste in music and fashion styles is, is also my choice in leisure activities. I go to clubs for techno, electro, drum&bass or dubstep parties, attend hardcore, metalcore, deathcore, emo/screamo, indie, folk and jazz concerts and never stop discovering new venues, interesting people and new musical trends.
And come summer (or at least a dry period) i get my longboard out and enjoy the city and its plane pavements and slight slopes :)

PHILOSOPHY

i question my own philosophies and ideologies so much, i never got the chance to stick with one ;)
anyways, i am a mostly relaxed guy, try not to have any prejudices whatsoever, am always open to meet new people and make new experiences. and i enjoy maintaining a sober mind even when none of my friends can talk or walk anymore :D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now my flat is so small, the only couch i have is used up by myself...but if it helps, i sure can take you for a club tour or for a drink and tell you all i discovered around here by now.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

spent some nights on couches of nice people who i met through mutual friends. but most of my trips were so spontaneous me and my companies found it easier to just crash at a cheap hostel for the weekend.
But i sure hope to widen my horizon with some couchsurfing experiences, now that i found this community!

Interests

Music!
I listen to lots of music and lots of different music. the range spreads from technical deathmetal to minimal techno, from mathcore to indiepop, from rap to folk and from drum&bass to posthardcore. The more obscure a microtrend, the more interested i am in it. i am always on the hunt for new sounds and concepts, but i can also enjoy partying to music that still sounds like back in the nineties (e.g. techno or hardcore punk)

Movies!
thanks to digital storage i can have my collection of several hundred (chances are i already hit the 1.000 mark) movies with me everywhere i go. as with music i have quite an inclusive taste. i like the artsy stuff that leaves you wndering about its meaning for days just as much a simple comedy that can give you a quick laugh and some fun quotations but won't put your mind to the test.

Longboarding!
Nothing more relaxing than cruising and carving through the city....no matter if its sunny or you can enjoy the deserted streets at night.

Bodymods!
Piercings and tattos are a passion of mine, i intend to back up with further experience. currently i have 2 tattoos (and one is planned for february - this is the reason i first got here) and a varying number of piercings (between 8 and 80 at times^^)
...i am also curious about the "hard" stuff but let's start it slow

so much more, that can't be summed up right now...i have stuff to do :D
