I am Qasim. I am originally from Peshawar, Pakistan and lived in Sheffield for the last six years. During my time in the UK I've met and made friends with lots of amazing people from different culture and background. I travelled many different cities in the UK for work and pleasure and I would love to see more amazing places and people on this journey of life :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Although I signed up to Couchsurfing a couple of years ago but I never used this site for travelling and to meet people.

I am here to meet people who live in different cities and love travelling who knows so we might be visiting them and using their couch for a day or two :)

Interests

I am passionate about my work i.e. working in IT and learning about new technologies and yes a lot of times I feel overwhelmed by the speed at which the technology is evolving and its impact on our lives.

I read a lot of tech magazines. When I am roaming in town I will most probably spend 15-20 minutes scanning through Tech magazines in WHSmith .

Movies:
Some of my favourite movies on top of my head are:
Forrest Gump, The Shawshank redemption, Godfather I & II, Braveheart, 3 Idiots, Lagaan.

Music:
I used to listen to Bryan Adams & Michael Jackson a lot in my early 20s but now I am not much of a music listener anymore.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I can't recall anything up until this point in my life where I can proudly say about something amazing that I've done. I still have to accomplish that I guess and I would rather let you decide once you know me and those who already know me say a word or two about it then me boasting about myself.
