About Me

My mission is to see as much of the planet as possible.

My Personaily is somewhere in between the following two quotes -A noble man compares and estimates himself by an idea which is higher than himself; and a mean man, by one lower than himself. The one produces aspiration; the other ambition, which is the way in which a vulgar man aspires.-Marcus Aurelius ...and....
“When I was a kid my favorite relative was Uncle Caveman. After school we'd all go play in his cave, and every once in a while he would eat one of us. It wasn't until later that I found out that Uncle Caveman was a bear.” - Jack Handey

Also I like sailing, biking, boating, Robert Munch books, deer chasing, caterpillars, Time Magazine and of course traveling. Oh and lets not forget drinking, I love drinking and meeting new people and telling stories to new people about all the new people I've met.

"Every second of everyday day new information, new stories, tales and adventures are begin created, and every second of everyday I try to keep up"...Me

Also... If you drink the milk right out of the carton and I come in and see you shoving it back in trying to hide what you did. Don't. Cause man I know what your doing! Just keep drinking because thats the truth, and lifes about honesty. Sorry I'm not great with quotes and I never took a philosophy class....

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well I'm not much of a carpenter or anything even though my dad is so there isn't much I can build in this community but I would love to meet new people and see and do interesting things and share points of view and my towels with other people.....their so soft! Also I love meeting new people.

I had a friend once who had a buddy stay on his couch for about 3 months even though he said it would only be 3 days....he didn't pay any bills and he never cleaned and he ate all the food and drank all the liquor and he kept telling stories about his dirt bike and always wanted me to drive him around in my truck with his dirt bike on the back because he said we'd "get chicks" when they saw the dirt bike one the back......this was all really annoying but for the first 6 days he was living on the couch it was really fun! Thats what i want to experience!

"I read a little bit of everything, yeah alot of everything, yeah anything thats interesting really yeah..." - Sarah Palin

Also politics, current events, peak oil, and going on random misadventures with friends, laughing, drinking, discussing, teaching, learning, really I'm interested in anything and everything in life! (Except Genocide and anything terrible like that).

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies : Tranformers, Jurrassic Park 3, Full House Season 3, Canada a Peoples History.

Now here are the movies I really like : Snatch, Fight Club (although I can't really remember it because I was really drunk at the time but everybody says I kept saying "this is the best movie EVER" so it's on the list). Crash (not the pervy Canadian Dave Chronenberg one) Canada a Peoples History and Star Trek 2 Wrath of Khan...."KAAAHHHHHNNNN"! - William Shatner

Music - Honestly anything. I love to dance. I would say Most Rock (especially Led Zepplin, The Who, The Guess Who, BTO, CCR,) most Hip Hop, Some rap, Swing, some pop, really almost anything I don't know why I wrote down all those genres the word anything would have sufficed!

Books: Patrick O'Brien, Micheal Crichton, Noam Chomsky (Especially manufacturing consent). But mostly I read wikipedia, the BBC and CNN ( sorry about the last one).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I drove 5,342kms across Canada in the middle of winter in a car with 300,000 kms through 3 storms of the century, with about 500 kgs worth of gear and household goods a pet turtle and a pet hedgehog it was thrilling, scary, humbling and inspiring all at the same time.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have been called a jack of all trades but a master of none. I pride myself on knowing a little bit of most things but I do not hve any specific skill sets. Except for when it comes to some aquatic activities. I am a wealth of knowledge (though sometimes I get my facts confused or exaggerated) but at the same time I pride myself on wanting to learn new things, hear other opinions and I love to listen to other peoples experiences and stories. I've rather talkative and can relate to almost anyone even with very different opinions from mine. Wow I didn't really directly answer the question did I? I think I shall go into politics.
