To have some fun and see things I've never seen before, and to meet good people along the way
I graduated from the University of Georgia in 2012 and now I'm working at a small company, mostly with their website; learning a lot of things about the fabled "real world" and trying to keep good people around me who make the world interesting.
I occasionally do standup comedy and I am moving to Chicago in September for no reason in particular other than I like it there.
Ketchup is not a vegetable.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
To get an insider perspective on the places I visit, and hopefully to do the same with people who want to visit Atlanta in the future.
I have surfed twice and never hosted, but I plan to do both some more in the future.
Stand up comedy, baking, doing things that are nostalgic and unnecessary like writing people letters, overthinking
Music, Movies, and Books
Jeffrey Lewis, Alfonso Cuaron, Charlie Kaufman, The Moldy Peaches, Billie Holiday, J.D. Salinger, The Amazing Adventures of Cavalier and Clay, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep, Flannery O'Connor, Shannon and the Clams, Todd Solondz, John Steinbeck, ahh there's way too much to remember all at once
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One time I saw a squirrel with one eye missing; pretty sure he was Odin. But if you wanna go the more traditional route: the sun rising at Masada, the theater festival in Avignon, a FREE PIZZA with purchase of a beer in Brooklyn, a woman dressed as the Statue of Liberty twerking in the streets of Baltimore
