I live in Champaign, Illinois, the same town i graduated from college in two years ago. I work creating visual effects for advertisements, commercial videos, television and feature film. the latter is what i actually want to be doing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

couchsurfing allows me to travel on a shoestring budget. lets me go places and only worry about the gas and food. in my opinion the cost of paying for lodging is the single most prohibitive cost to travel. not only does CS let me travel without going broke, it is a totally different experience. you don't meet interesting local people and get great firsthand advice from a hotel.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i've traveled around to several film festivals with my best friend, i've also taken a trip to New Orleans with my girlfriend. i especially like CS for the long distance trips because you can pick cities along the way to stop and spend the night or day and get to meet a new host every night.
