I'm currently travelling so can't host :)
Enjoying life, being happy and trying to bring that to everyone else
I'm a happy-go-lucky kinda boy. I'm can be serious but usually am unserious. I am adventureful, and enjoy making up new words! I'm very open, extroverted, honest (blunt if you will) and I love to spend time with friends new and old, dancing and generally appreciating and loving life.
I work in an NGO with refugees which I love, but can be very draining and sometimes leaves me anti-social, where the only thing I want to do is go to the gym/go to a boxing class/play volleyball to get rid of my frustration.
I like most people, as long as they are nice and fun and care about other people and the world. and I love couchsurfing. I've met some pretty amazing people through this, some of whom have become incredibly close friends. I even got a tattoo for a Swedish girl I met through CS in New York!
I've lived in Paris and NYC in 2010. Which was amazing! I always have itchy feet.
LGBTIQ people are most welcome in our home. However you identify is cool with us :)
Life is joyful. Dance your way through it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
had my first surfing and travel meet-up experience in india. was great fun and made some great new mates. really gives you hope for humanity
my first hosting experiece was a while back with marianne and dave from scotland. sooooo awesome!!! We got along so well we met again in queensland on holiday.
Since then I've done a fair amount of hosting and surfing. And I love it. Had an open house when I was living alone in Paris which is the way I like it. Had some pretty epic fun times!!!
What's great now is that couchsurfing has come full circle - seeing people and travelling people I've met on this years after we've met. Amazing!!
hmmm... waaay to much. but here is a taster:
- being serious. sometimes. like for humanitarian law, which is fascinating.
- delicious food, like artichokes, pesto, olives, dumplings, raspberries, oysters
- being somewhat random. like dancing in the rain and splashing about. or having a mud fight
- summer and hot summer nights
- nature, nature, nature
and lots of other stuff.
- music festivals
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Too many to list. But here are a few:
India. the whole thing - eye-opening, intense, chaotic, beautiful
NYC - each time I've been to NYC have been some of the most amazing times of my life.
BOOM festival in Portugal. One of the most amazingest fortnights of my life. The CS camp we had was a true joy.

Everyone should experience a summer in Australia. There is absolutely nothing like it. The warm glow of the sun, the hot summer nights where there are street parties everywhere, music festivals, lying on a beach in a city with three other people on the entire stretch of sand, walking around at 4am with jasmine flowers guiding your way with their scent. All of that.
