About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To write a strong mission statement later

ABOUT ME

Super laid back, calm -not to be confused with shy, and generally loving a good time.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to make each day stand out in its own way. None of that carpe diem stuff however, I simply want to break the drag of monotonous life and make my days more memorable.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm waiting to host people until I get my own apartment again, in the mean time I hope to run into people who are willing to host me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm completely new to this but I've heard many great things. Hope to put it to the test soon!

Interests

Seeing new places, going for a drink with friends, discussing current events, fantasy/sci-fi books, generally lazing around, and feeling like an awesome adventurer when traveling.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: A LOT. I don't think I stick to a specific genre. I have noticed however that I can get a bit impatient when sitting through long movies. That's why I prefer to watch shows.

Music: Generally your indie, rock stuff, but I enjoy a large variety of music. Some of the artists I'm particularly into at the moment are Alt-J, Bob Dylan, and the Black Keys.

Books: I love reading. I mainly gravitate towards fantasy/sci-fi books but I try to compensate with a healthy dose of non-fiction. I recently read Anthony Bourdain's Kitchen Confidential and I really enjoyed it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spending the entire night at Mt. Bromo in Indonesia to watch the sun rise and see the clouds come rolling in over the mountains was amazing.

Watching an old guy casually kick an unsuspecting pigeon was also pretty interesting. I don't condone this, but pigeons are super hard to sneak up on. Or so I've been told.
