ABOUT ME

I am a mother, wife, business owner, traveler, student, caregiver, pet owner, and friend. There is something magical about traveling. The world opens up to you. I've experienced strangers acting like family and old friends opening their heart and homes along the way.

PHILOSOPHY

Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry, but by demonstrating that all peoples cry, laugh, eat, worry, and die, it can introduce the idea that if we try and understand each other, we may even become friends.

I love to travel and meet new people and revisit old friends. I believe that people should travel so they would become less egocentric.

I am frustrated by greed, big business mentality, and the lack of compassion for individuals in need. I believe in social justice and being and hope that I am a good caretaker of our planet.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have camped across the United States and Canada several times. In 1998, I camped in Mexico for 3 months covering 10,000 miles. Mexico is a favorite, especially Oaxaca, Ajijic, and Baja.
