FYI I don't live in Luxembourg city but in Esch-sur-Alzette which is 25min away from Luxembourg city by train. Trains between Esch and Luxembourg run every 15-30 min.
Please take your time and fill your profile (if you have not done it yet). I don't want to be mean but I need a reason to accept you as a guest as I am not a "free hotel" manager.
I am pretty calm person on the surface, thoughtful and critical towards bullshit :).
Currently studying philosophy and doing some freelance work.
I can't say I love travelling, I don't take it very serious. Well, it has some 'getting to know new things' effect but same times it is pretty shallow as experience which does not leave strong marks on my memory. I prefer living in different countries and feeling full spirit of place instead of 'passing by'. I am always on a run, changing country after country.
I don't want to paint here an amazing image of myself, how open-minded, easy-going and cool I am. I easily get bored with those so called 'nice' , cool and super-duper people. I prefer laid-back mature company.
What do I enjoy most? red wine, procrastination, playing chess, helping others - without conditions (sounds like a superhero), mint tea, strong coffee, reading diaries, stay invisible, making others laugh.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like the concept but in late years it became kind of overcrowded and slowly its true spirit is fading away.
I have been on CS since 2007, before was I into hospitalityclub (some of you may remember it). Since then I hosted many CSers, surfed also and met many of them on regular CS meetings.
Music, Movies, and Books
Well, many of them indeed but if I have to narrow down the list and pick one, I could say that:
Favorite book: Letter to His Father by Franz Kafka
Favorite music: Chinawoman
Favorite movie? Aki Kaurismäki movies.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Done: Well, because of my talent became mysteriously popular in the smallest Baltic country . Even though I am not living there anymore time to time I get nice emails from locals.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to buy me a drink and than you have to do it yourself.
Seriously talking, I can't promise anything now this "Teach, Learn, Share" element (whatever CS guys thing it means :)) should emerge in the certain context.
Well if you insist, maybe I teach you some Georgian, so alphabet looks like this - გასწავლი ფრაზებს ქართულ ენაზე! Did you already give up?
What I Can Share with Hosts
