Hmmm.. That's funny really . How can I write all about myself if I still don't know myself thoroughly..:)
But I ok I'll try at least..
I'm a 31yr old pretty easy going girl. I've done a bunch of travelling myself and am definitely keen to do more. I'm finishing up my last semester of university at the moment and otherwise am just working ...
I've had an urge to travel my whole life and it feels so right to be finally doing it now. I'd love to meet new people enjoy their company and share secrets of the world over beers or coffee. I'm attempting many things at once, and achieveing them one at a time.
From the writing of Jon Krakauer, "The very basic core of a man's living spirit is his passion for adventure. The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun." I try my best to never judge anyone for who they are or what they've done. I'm constantly reminding myself that "right" and "wrong" are subjective terms and that what I feel is right or wrong maybe the complete opposite from someone else, but who am I to judge them and assume that my way of thinking is "correct"? The third philosophy that I find very important is that kindness is one of the most needed things in our world. Very few things make me upset, but seeing people be mean, rude or hurtful to other people for no reason just frustrates me. If we all were nice to everyone we meet then so much of the problems in our world would just disappear.
To sum it all up, by seeing new places and meeting new people, keeping an open mind to everyone I meet and by being a kind, friendly person, I hope to be doing my little part to improve the earth and our one human family.

Music, Movies, and Books
If I felt like I was writing too much in the other sections, then this one would definitely go on for too long..:)
Good movies are visual stories, and the ones that I enjoy the most are films which provide insight into life. Some of my favorites are:
Into the Wild/ Sean Penn
Lost in translation / Sofia Coppola
Irreversibel / Gaspar Noe,
Mulholland drive / David Lynch
Hable con ella / Pedro Almodóvar
Dogville / Lars von Trier
Eyes Wide Shut / Stanley Kubrick...
If I were to say that books and movies open up my mind, I would have to say that music opens up my soul.
I'm such a music junkie!:D
I can respect all music as an expression of the artist and am constantly having my musical tastes shifted in different directions.
I recently discovered for myself
psychedelic music from the sixties and the seventies including Krautrock..really amazing!;)
RATM,Primus,RJD2,At The Drive-In,Bob Marley,King Crimson,The Doors,Fugees,Anti-Flag,Radiohead,John Frusciante,Can,The Q4,One Minute Silence,The Mars Volta,SOAD...Too many!!
With books,I usually prefer the classics - books like
"1984" / George Orwell
"Die Welt als Wille und Vorstellung" / Arthur Schopenhauer
Siddhartha / Hesse
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
ufff..to many...maybe my Vipassana 10-Day Meditation Course..
and the new amazing experiences -sleep in the Sahara desert under the starry sky..It was such an indescribable experience!!:)
