The advocacy and lobbying department addresses the pressing issues of the communities MSMU serves for better service delivery.
There are a number of things that glab my attention and these are in line with my organization - mustardseed Uganda. i love doing or we do the following;
“…I was in prison, and ye came unto me.” – Mt 25:36.
We share the love of Christ to those in prison.
The inmates are counselled, assisted with basic needs, trace their homes and helped to reconcile. Former inmates are also helped to start income generating activities.
Evangelism and Church Planting
MSMU holds Gospel Campaign Crusades and impartation seminars to plant churches, disciple and strengthen Christian to grow and develop to maturity and good stewardship.We Pray that churches would continue to be centred in God’s Word and Will, and be faithful in passing on a healthy authentic church planting.
Under this program we Share the Word of God with the elderly to improve their self image and worth with some basic necessities by supporting their children or grandchildren in schools. They are also helped with their movements to worshiping places, health centres. A team of MSMU organizes their houses, fetches water for them and does laundry work among others.
“… I sick, and ye visited me…” Mt 25:36, we share the love of Jesus by providing basic necessities, patients are counselled, taught Gods word and prayed for. Those who establish a relation with Jesus are followed up and discipled and we clean the hospitals and slashing around.
I have a lot that makes my hear rest, but for the moment the above things or activities excite my heart.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have had many moments that left me awestruck and are still, the time we held a crused and many people gave their lives to God.
The second is the time i had a dream of starting an hospital and indeed it came true, we have an hospital under this organization that reaches out to the lives of the common person at the grassroots of our area and outside our region.
The other amazing moment was when i was in china, i came across many surprising things that i had never seen in my country Uganda.
