About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Taking courses in bodywork/massage... Scouting out future bases for mutant art explosions...
ABOUT ME
hm, I was born in Japan to American parents, so I think that sort of set me on my identity-agnostic thought-nomad path. I have a pretty broad set of interests/creative praxis, but I have recently been focused on getting certified in massage, which I'm practically done with (of course, California doesn't really have so many requirements for that, but I'm being diligent!)
I've been decently successful learning Spanish by myself/travelling, and anticipate the next year or so will find myself living in Argentina or Barcelona, where I have some friends from my travels...
PHILOSOPHY
identity agnostic.
"nothing is true, everything is permitted" was always a good line, too.
i like laughing.
it seems like I don't really believe in anything that you can describe, catalog, etc. so either I am REALLY REALLY deep or just absolutely enjoying the ride.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I just made a profile with the CS site,
but I suppose I've 'lived the lifestyle' for
quite a while now, whether from travelling
in Mexico, Hawaii with just curiosity and a backpack,
to sharing my houses with those with similar (or not) vocations in life whose paths have crossed with mine.
Interests
Bodywork, Art - painting/sculpture/everything, whatever channels that creative energy to the next level - BUTOH performance!!!, improvised music/noise, meeting unique people, COOKING! awesome food from a veggie-centric perspective, finding amazing mutant universes in between the cracks of the world...
I'm in the midst of taking some more workshops in bodywork/massage at this nudist hotsprings near the Bay Area/California, and after that will be applying myself to healing/bodywork... besides my creative interests.

Music, Movies, and Books
Deleuze & Guattari ('radical philosophy'?, ahem), Haruki Murakami (black humor/surrealist(?) writer from Japan), K.W. Jeter (this great obscure noir-SF writer who lived in Portland too), and I can't remember her name right now, but this rad French anarchist girl who basically couch surfed around French-colonial North Africa (dressed "as a man") and wrote beautifully stark short stories, before dying young.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Jumping off 50' cliffs into the ocean, with nothing between me and the South Pole (Big Island/Hawaii)
UFO/ Military experiments over the Pacific Ocean
(OK, that one I was drunk/high)
Being in Oaxaca City, Mexico while it was liberated from the corrupt violent government by striking teachers, pan-wielding housewives and anarcho-punks.
Countries I’ve Visited
Canada, Guatemala, Mexico
Countries I’ve Lived In
Japan, United States
