I've been in Austin for almost four years and am still exploring the city! I keep busy with work and a ton of volunteering.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been a member for awhile, but have never hosted or asked to be hosted. I mainly use CS to connect with people and to find language partners.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The people I've met through CS have been great! I'm eager to meet more and learn about other people's experiences and travels.

Interests

I enjoy talking with people and exchanging stories, experiences, beliefs and interests. I enjoy exploring and trying new things and new places. At home, I love to try out new recipes in the kitchen, read, write, and relax.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was able to visit schools in Laos that were funded by an organization I volunteer for called Room to Read. I'm a chapter leader for the organization in Austin and we organize fundraiser throughout the year. It was an amazing experience to see the work first-hand and to meet the children that go to these schools. Unforgettable!
