I am a 25 year old lover of the ocean, as many many are, and am currently on a mission to become an expert offshore sailor. I need to log lots of sea time and cover lots of miles in order to gain captain´s licenscing and other certifications so I can eventually support myself as a sailor.
Before this I was building boats, working on boats, going to school. I have done lots of other types of work as well.
I love to surf, swim, play music, read, write, craft with drift wood and stones, beachcomb, ride boards, hike, explore, do new things, and of course share this life thoroughly with those around me. I love!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I will be needing places to temporarily sleep for a few days at a time so I don´t eat up too much of my cruising funds on hostels and motels. For instance, I am flying into Hawai´i a few days before i will be able to move onto the sailboat I will be helping deliver across the pacific this month, and so will need somewhere to sleep for that small period.
