I'm a 34 year old record producer and my wife is a Social Worker, and for the last 12 months we have been volunteering in Swaziland. We are now slowly meandering our way back to Melbourne Australia and would love to meet some new people on the way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't couchsurfed in a while as it's been sometime since I was fancy free travelling but I couchsurfed through parts of Europe in 2007 following on from a performance tour. Since then I've hosted a few people in melbourne and have really enjoyed my experiences.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

lots but some of my favourites
-driving 11,500 km through australia, exploring the desert and kimberly regions.
-working with Swazi musicians to create music addressing cultural and social problems
-exploring southern Africa following on from working in Swaziland (pony trekking, scuba diving, safaris, white water rafting etc.)
-eating in Turkey

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a professional record producer and engineer and I'll have a small recordng rig with me whilst travelling. I compose music and sound art for films, drama and dance as well as music for musics' sake. I can teach music and theory. I can play and teach trombone though I don't currently have one. I can sail and maintain sail boats. Experienced with macintosh computers. I am an experienced hiker with alpine experience and skills.
