About Me

CURRENT MISSION

We're not lost, we're on an adventure!

ABOUT ME

I often am...

learning, thinking, acting, sprouting, permaculture-ing, gardening, homesteading, fermenting, cooking, gardening, beekeeping, weaving, listening, yoga-ing, playing, breathing / meditating, inventing, building, writing, creating, researching, learning, learning, learning, loving, eating, feeling, riding (bike), and singing.

Life is a theater and I've played many roles: student, intern, farmer, grocery clerk, photographer, teacher ... list goes on. Right now I'm working/playing with kids at a Forest Kindergarten and helping to manage a small company.

PHILOSOPHY

Meglio vivere un giorno da leone che cent'anni da pecora (ie, 'Go big or go home.')

LOVE LIFE.

Be Here.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host, I surf ... I share, I listen... I'm human? :) woohooo!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Truth be told ...Couchsurfing, a community based on TRUST rather than (on our larger society's foundation of) fear, has changed my life. CSing has opened me to new people, places, ideas and perspectives that I never would have experienced if it were not for the bedrock of trust that is Couchsurfing.

Interests

Breathing, etymologies, languages, yoga, kundalini, Osho, Vipassana, kites, bikes, fun, exploring, creating, drawing, writing, stargazing, getting lost in foreign places, yard sales, talking, listening, sanguina, contradancing, red red meat, kefir, tomatoes, seasons, improv, playback theater, sweet bass rhythms. Also, in one way or another, please show me you actually read my profile - cheers!

Disinterests: haters, crappy food and cotton balls.

Music, Movies & Books

Movies, in order:
1. Waterworld
2. Contact
3. La Meglio Gioventù

Music and books... too many ... Osho to Inferno, The xx to Elisa, Rumi to John Green.

One Amazing Thing I've Done

Drove to Iowa from Massachusetts in 22 hours straight, almost got blown away by a thunderstorm on the Pine Ridge Reservation, went spelunking in a cave where a Pagan cult made crazy sacrifices...

Teach, Learn, Share

Simply stated, everyone's a student and everyone's a teacher.

Countries I've Visited

Canada, France, Germany, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Palestine, Serbia, South Korea, Spain

Countries I've Lived In

Italy, United States
