I'm a spunky, flirty, hedonistic, hippy chick. I like dancing in the sunshine, laughing with friends and making good food.

PHILOSOPHY

I am a hedonist. I have long term goals, aspirations and plans, but I live in the moment. I appreciate pleasure, and thus pain. I have very few regrets (hey, only had 21 years to accumalate them) but attempt to be concious of the price I will have to pay for the choices I make.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am planning on going south this winter break. Either to the larger cities in California, or to Arizona (sunshine!!). I haven't figured out how to make a destination that is "I am going" but I do intend to spend a week outside of oregon this December, and it will likely be done couchsurfing.

I'd like to show people around Portland, Oregon. Or Oregon for that matter, in general.

I would also like to travel more in the next few years, as I haven't been able to get off the west coast yet. I'd like to head east and south.... We shall see. So many possibilities.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Friend recently came out from Colorado that I met on Okcupid. Rode around the country side for 5 days, had some good food and hung out.

My family would travel and stay with friends; I like the idea of traveling alone and meeting people I've never known before, but online.

Interests

I'm curious about most things. I'm happy to talk about almost anything, if I can get my teeth into it.

Personally, I read alot of fiction. I'm a music major; I can talk your ear off about classical music history. Or theory. I identify as egnostic pagan (if labels mean anything anyway) and work with energy on a constant basis.

I'm being trained in classical music; and I do love it. Holst, Tchaikowsky, Phillip Sparke... it all makes me happy.

I like science fiction. It's relaxing, allows me to go someplace else then my current stress.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Playing in an orchestra is an experience that I wish every person could have. When things are flowing right, and the energy exchange between 60 people, transforming the black and white notes of a distant composers' dream into a tangible, real array of sound..... It's amazing, and does change everything.

I give fairly good messages.

I like laughing with people.... when it's honest and clean.

If any one would like to learn some music theory, I'd be delighted. Really. Honestly. I'll teach ye how to read the staff, key signatures, how it fits together... if you'll sit still that long ;)
