About Me

leaving La Serena, Chile, and together with a friend from university exploring a little bit of Bolivia and Peru...

I am easy-going, funny, open-minded, curious and light-hearted.

In my opinion it's quite hard to characterise oneself. Learn more about me while enjoying an uncomplicated ice cream, if you like ;)

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

I met some really nice people here in Chile while I surfed and hosted. Now I hope I will have the chance to get to know more people while I'm traveling.

Once I hosted a canadian couple in my community in Dresden for two nights, who were travelling around Europe. Since it was the first time for me to host someone, I was a little bit nervous. But finally it was totally uncomplicated and comfortable. Here in La Serena, Chile, I shared twice my apartment with people who I met few days before traveling. Thereby I noticed how fast it can go to make freinds.

Another time I surfed in Bonn for one night, since I had an interview there. That was pretty nice, since I do not feel that comfortable staying in hotels. Here in Chile I had the chance to surf in La Serena, Viña del Mar and Santiago. All the three of them were so nice that I still stay in contact with them.

I like handball, sewing, cooking, travelling and exploring.

Music, Movies & Books

The Time Traveller's Wife (one of the few that are both, a brilliant book and a good film version)

and last but not least Forrest Gump

One Amazing Thing I've Done

I was jogging along the Tejo (more than once) in Lisboa, Portugal and along the beach in La Serena with brillant weather ;)

I can cook "Spätzle" and other delicous dishes ;)

What I Can Share With Hosts

Curiosity about your stories, some sewing skills (with machine and by hand) and my toothpaste ;) or just an interersting conversation.
