Hi! I am a French Immersion Science teacher in Penticton, BC. I live in a small house on an orchard and love the outdoors. I enjoy hiking, rock climbing, running, cycling, ski touring, camping and am currently learning how to sail. I have taught for two years and have coached track and field and cross country skiing for one year. I was born in Switzerland and my family immigrated when i was eight years old. We have been in Canada ever since and love it here!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

What I enjoy most when I travel is meeting people. Couch surfing is such a great idea and I enjoy hosting travelers as much as i like visiting a new place.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When i was in first year university we had to attend a seminar for a spanish class and the presentation was from a man who had hiked the camino in Spain with his daughter. Seeing his pictures and hearing his stories, it became a dream to do that one day. Last year, with my best friend, we did it! We chose to bike to Portugese part of the trail and it was one of the most beautiful experiences I have had, traveling.
