About Me
Hi, I’m Nageswar Beshra 👋
I’m originally from Odisha, India, and currently based in Noida, where I work at Samsung India Electronics as a QA/Automation Engineer. My background is in computer science and software testing, with experience in both manual and automation testing across mobile, desktop, and IoT devices.
I studied Computer Applications (MCA) at Manipal University Jaipur (CGPA 8.12) and completed my B.Sc. in Computer Science at KIIT Bhubaneswar. I love learning about technology, problem-solving, and exploring how software impacts everyday life.
Outside of work, I enjoy meeting new people, exploring local cultures, traveling, and exchanging ideas. Couchsurfing excites me because it’s not just about visiting places but also about connecting with people, sharing stories, and learning from each other’s journeys.
I’d describe myself as friendly, curious, adaptable, and respectful. Whether it’s cooking together, exploring a city, or just sharing a good conversation over tea/coffee, I’m always up for meaningful connections.
Skills & Interests
Languages I use at work: Java, Python, JavaScript, SQL
Tools & Tech: Selenium, Appium, Jenkins, GitHub, JIRA, Postman
Travel interests: History, local food, cultural exchanges, nature walks
Personal interests: Tech discussions, photography, fitness, reading about AI & testing
Fun Facts
I’ve tested everything from Samsung Pay to SmartThings & IoT devices – so yes, I get to “break things” for a living (in a good way).
I received Employee of the Quarter (2019) and a Certificate of Excellence (2023) at Samsung.
I believe every trip becomes memorable when shared with good people.
Looking forward to connecting with travelers and hosts – sharing experiences, cultures, and hopefully making lifelong friends along the way! 🌍✨

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I joined Couchsurfing to connect with people beyond the usual way of traveling. For me, it's not just about visiting places, but about experiencing them through the eyes of locals and fellow travelers. I want to make new friends, exchange cultures, learn from others, and share my own stories. Couchsurfing gives me the chance to travel in a more meaningful, human way -building memories through real connections.
Interests
I'm curious about many things, and I enjoy exploring both new places and new ideas. I love traveling, meeting people from different backgrounds, and learning about cultures, food, and traditions. Technology, especially Al and software testing, excites me, and I enjoy keeping up with how it's shaping our world.
In my free time, I like reading, exploring local spots, and having meaningful conversations. I also enjoy photography, long walks, and discovering hidden gems in nature or cities. Sharing stories, cooking together, or just exchanging thoughts over tea/coffee are some of my favorite ways to connect.

Teach, Learn, Share
I can share my knowledge about technology, Al, software testing, and automation since that's my field of study and work. I also enjoy teaching basic computer skills and sharing insights about Indian culture, traditions, and local travel tips.
Learn
I want to learn about different cultures, languages, lifestyles, and personal stories that inspire growth. I believe the best learning comes from real-life experiences and meaningful conversations with people from around the world.
I'd love to share my travel experiences, stories from my journey, and simple moments like exploring the city, cooking together, or enjoying local food. I believe sharing time, laughter, and perspectives makes every connection special
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can offer good company, respect, and a positive attitude. I believe in keeping the space clean and being considerate of the host's home and rules. I enjoy meaningful conversations, sharing travel stories, and exchanging knowledge about culture, food, and technology.
If you like, I can cook simple Indian dishes, help with small tech-related things, or simply share laughter and good energy. For me, Couchsurfing is about building trust and creating a friendly connection, so I'll do my best to make the experience enjoyable for both of us.
