ABOUT ME

My name's Nakita. I'm from Hong Kong but currently I'm in UK as an exchange student for half year. When I was in Hong Kong,I couldn't travel a lot because the flight to other places is not cheap. But now I'm in UK, and that's a huge difference! I hope to make the most of my half year stay here and visit as many places as possible.

I consider myself quite independent, but friends are very important to me. And now I'm in a new place, I also hope to meet more people from different places

My friend introduced couchsurfing to me. I love the idea of meeting new people and sharing experiences.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Two weeks ago I went to Belgium with my friend and we stayed in a really nice family's house. That is my first couchsurfing experience:)

Music, Movies, and Books

I really like watching movies, especially those by Christopher Nolan. Usually I don't watch movies for a director but Nolan is definitely an exception - I just love his movies.

Difficult to say what kinds of music I enjoy...usually most of them, except for the very extreme ones.

All time favourite book- Harry Potter. I grew up with it. It's my childhood and is irreplaceable :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Getting on a motorbike in Taiwan at 2:30am and had a 2-hour ride to the mountain and waited for the sun rise on 21/12 last year. The sky that night was so beautiful and I had never seen so many stars in my life. Also that was my first time to see a sunrise. If that day was really the end of the world, I would not have regrets

Teach, Learn, Share

I would really like to see different cultures. I think I'm good at observing things so I can tell what is different from my own culture. If you want to know more about Hong Kong/China, I'd love to share with you
