ABOUT ME

I am currently a post-graduate student at Indiana University-Bloomington. I am studying library science with a focus in archives. I have one more semester left before I am hopefully done with school forever!!!! I received a history undergraduate with a minor in public history at Northwest Missouri State University. I want to work at a small, unique archives that has some really neat historical documents. I would love to live in Ireland, England, Scotland, and many other European countries during my life. I want to go whale spotting before I die. I want to touch a glacier, go camping, sky dive, and find Atlantis. I am easy going with a quirky sense of humor. I some times think that I would make a good sailor because of my mouth at times. I love to go out and hear good live music.

PHILOSOPHY

Learn as much as possible and connect with as many people as possible. I LOVE LOVE LOVE meeting people from other countries. Its almost like a natural high. I like hearing the stories, learning the differences in culture and learning their history. The more I take in the more I feel connected to life.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I want to get my feet wet, but I am sure that after I do a little surfing in the spring I will want to do more!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Did a little surfing in high school on a band trip. We had host families that gave us all a floor to sleep on. I was happy.

Interessi

I am interested in EVERYTHING! I want to learn all different languages. The top being Gaelic, Italian, Portuguese, Romanian, and Arabic. I am a music junkie and love hearing live music. Pub/coffee house music is by far the best. Unknown gems. People do not know what they are missing.

Musica, film e libri

Movies: Action, horror (based on true events and Asian), foreign (current favorite is Dostana), historical fiction (even though they are mutilated), romantic comedy, and comedy.

Music: Essentially everything. My ipod is bipolar which keeps me happy most days. I really like acoustic covers and originals the best. Coldplay is my favorite band and Everything I Do by Bryan Adams is my favorite song.

Books: HUGE Harry Potter fan. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Pride and Prejudice and the best film version will always be with Colin.

I know how to mend books and recase them. I am really good at coming up another way to do something when most think it is impossible. I have always wanted to learn how to juggle and skip a rock.
