About Me

TRAVELLING INSIDE ARGENTINA AT THE MOMENT , SO CURRENTLY NOT IN URUGUAY TO HOST OR HANG OUT

CURRENT MISSION

To have a meaningful life, and being a positive contribution to others'

ABOUT ME

I am 47, an internationalist postgrad from LSE, open-minded, from Argentina, who has been living and travelling for a few years in North America, Europe. Oceania, Asia and currently Latin America .
I love to meet people from different cultures and countries, hanging out, travelling, trying new things, challenging my own views.
Sports and outing: I positively love swimming, and anything that has to do with water or snow! Also, playing tennis, trekking, going to the gym, yoga. Doing lots of sports lately...
Great film lover (either author films -from Linklater and Van Sant to Kubrik or C.Mitchell) and quality commercial ones)
While being in my city I have a busy life, but full of the things i like to do. In my free time I love hanging out with friends, sailing, going to the gym, and meeting new people.
Always planning projects and thinking about enhancing our world.

PHILOSOPHY

Roger Rabbit's ("If you lack a sense of humour, you're better off dead")

Also (and not only for dating, but for friends as well):

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Met amazing people and other earthlings all over the world and developed friendship out of nothingness!

Hugged dozens of happy strangers on the evening of Nov 4, 2008, while others improvised music and yelled, beneath the rain in Washington, DC, as I screamed "it's Dr. King's dream, man!!!" :It was magic, though we know what came next :D

Had an interview with one of the major actors of the end of the cold war.

I saw a huge star fly up into the skies in Folegandros, Greece, in July 1996, and a big light cruising the sky in Cabo Polonio, Uruguay in February 2007. And I was not on drugs or drinks, and I don't just "wanna believe". Will appreciate any clarification of what I might have seen :D

Teach, Learn, Share

I have taught Cinema, Economics, Politics, Journalism and creative writing, English, Spanish and even French!
I have taught how to ski to a complete beginner in just 1 hr when couchsurfing in Colorado!
I have taught some leadership and self development skills.

I am open to learn pretty much everything. And would love to learn more about music, cinema, writing, tennis and lots of different disciplines

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can teach Spanish, English, French, Economics, International Relations, Journalism, Film and Theatre
I can be a both good, open-minded listener and a good conversationalist. I have some notions of psychology, coaching and leadership.
I can tell you some facinating and very diverse stories from my travels, my work experience in government, journalism and international relations, people I met, my family, my personal life (after the ice melts) and other stuff I learned
I am happy to help with anything I can.
I can share meals, outing, talks, trips, movies, friendship.... the list goes on :-)
