I grew up out in the boonies in a good ole place called Bernville, Pennsylvania. After spending my first 18 years of life in this wonderful town of 800 people, I moved on to bigger and equally as awesome things by moving to Pittsburgh for college. I spent five fantastic years in the Burgh it was time for change once again and Boulder, CO was the next destination. I've only been in Boulder since late August but I think it's going to be a long time before I leave this amazing outdoorsy mecca.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have only really couchsurfed once so far. I spent a night in Denver after I moved to Boulder and met some amazing people who were quite fond of couchsurfing themselves. While I currently spend my evenings on a couch, I don't think the experience qualifies since I am quite good friends with the owner of the couch (which is a fine substitute for a mattress)
I eat, breath, and sleep sports. More specifically, the Philadelphia Phillies. I enjoy playing and watching baseball, as well as golf, football, some basketball, etc. I am also deeply in love with food. I am always willing to try new food experiences, including challenges to eat large quantities of food, challenges to eat the spiciest food, and just new flavors in general. I am equally interested in putting an end to global warming and finding a cure for cancer. I will do both, or die trying. In reality, I alone won't succeed in either cause, but I will most certainly do my part (i.e. I like all kinds of science and plan on making one or more of them a profession).
Music, Movies, and Books
Shawshank Redemption, Good Will Hunting, Foo Fighters, Wayside School Gets a Little Stranger, and many more.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I had the opportunity to go skydiving a few years ago. I highly recommend it to everyone and I also plan on going again someday.
