To take every opportunity the universe presents to me on my journey...
***I am ONLY here with the INTENTIONS to COUCHSURF during my TRAVELS. REFRAIN from contacting me with LEWD messages and using this as a tool to DATE. If contacted by STRANGE men, I WILL and ALREADY HAVE report you.***
I'm pretty shy at first, but once I get talking I'm pretty easy to get along with. I'm not high maintenance AT ALL. I'm open-minded, optimistic, and accepting of all cultures and lifestyles. I love seeing whats outside my bubble in Los Angeles and just want to be mesmerized by the world we live in. I can be a total homebody, but, I also know how to have a good time and let loose. I'm very multi-cutural myself, if you will... I'm half mexican (mom)/half persian (dad), but only know how to speak spanish. I have the love of the french language, so I can get by (which I have already checked off my bucket list) living in Paris. I'm very into positive affirmation, the universe, energies, meditation... If you've read The Secret, I'm your best friend. I really like math, haha. So, if I'm ever in your home or you're in mine and you got a couple algebra questions, I'm the one to ask. I played the flute for 8 years and was in a marching band/drumline. I have an older sister, named Star, and a younger brother, named Prince. My nickname, which is in Spanish, is Brisa (meaning Breeze), and my first name, which is in Farsi, is Nasim (also, meaning Breeze). I even have my French alter ego named Brigitte. I consider myself to be an independent, strong-willed, woman, but I wouldn't be where I am today without the help of my family, friends, and the couch surfing community. <3
My three favorite quotes:
Everybody Is A Genius. But If You Judge A Fish By Its Ability To Climb A Tree, It Will Spend Its Whole Life Thinking Its Stupid.
It's The Growing Pains That Hurt So Good.
You can be the sweetest, juiciest and ripest peach and there still will be someone who doesn't like peaches.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Currently, I am on my own traveling mission, so I'm totally surfing. BUT, if I am not traveling and am able to host, I'd be more than happy to pay it forward.
I had some great and not-so-great CS'ing experiences. I was somewhat intimidated to try it out, but it really is a beautiful gift to see the humanity and hospitality of all the open doors people have to offer. My first experience was beyond my expectations, then I met someone on CS'ing with the wrong intentions, but, luckily... was saved by another remarkable host. I'm still learning in the process of picking a host, but, with the right host, it is totally worth it.
I'm pretty much open to anything and new experiences!
