ABOUT ME

i grew up in a community house, which explains my love for new faces and environments. i am a youth worker, apart from that i studied film straight out of high school, played with professional wedding photography, and have just recently gained the courage to call myself an artist, and am ecstatic that my first lot of paintings have sold. i have traveled around Australia, Thailand, Africa, Fiji and now India. i am currently in India doing volunteer work with a cancer hospice, and have sporadically decided to head to Ireland and France even though my pockets are empty. My father is Irish and i have longed to see his home land my whole life, i figure now is the time.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am a new member, i am currently traveling and hope to have my first experience of surfing! I'll be puffing my couch pillows for my surfing buddies when i get home!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't had any professional couch surfing experience yet, i'm sure crashing on friends couches in your home town doesn't count.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i fairly recently climbed a very high waterfall in Thailand that had a sign at the bottom of it saying 'do not climb' and a picture of a stick man falling to his death. the view was amazing from the top.

Teach, Learn, Share

everybody is creative, even if you think your not.

i have dabbled in all sorts of creative arts however am not really trained in any... but can pass on simple knowledge.

more important than any of that i have just recently learned the art of living in the moment, something i thought i always did, but never actually did. when you live in the moment peace dwells no matter the circumstance, and even the most mundane tasks become interesting, like brushing your teeth. i feel like i'm a child again looking at the world for the first time.

and in this state i am ready to learn about anything from anyone.
