About Me

I was born in Chile but raised in Miami. If I am the sum of my family's parts, I am part Chilean, Colombian, Argentinian and Italian, but I don't discriminate - I love eating food from all parts of the world. Meeting people from all parts of the world too. I'm a travel nurse, meaning I have found a way to merge my love for traveling and caring for others. I grew up singing, dancing and performing in theaters so I'm not shy, and I'm a Libra so I'm very easy going. Besides soul food and soul music, I love yoga and hiking for the soul. Sometimes, I wish I could just hike around the world. Other times, I make like a couch potato and binge watch way too much TV; less often I catch up on a good book, but I used to be quite a little bookworm. More than anything, I enjoy the company of my family and old and new friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Fun fact: about 5-6 yrs ago, I used to host couchsurfers and was hosted a few times in California. I really enjoyed it then, and I'm sure I will again.

Music, Movies, and Books

I went to one of my first music festivals in California and since then, I try to go as often as I can. I love that you can listen to all sorts of music with people who love music just as much as you and aren't afraid to dance like fools. I love music that makes you want to dance, but I pretty much listen to it all - indie, pop, rock, EDM, R & B, rap, Broadway musicals, jazz, classical, world music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Recently, I was living in Hawaii, where I became scuba certified and saw a reef shark, so many spinner dolphins, sea turtles and all sorts of beautiful underwater life. I also did Goat Yoga with a few friends in Maui - google it if you haven't heard about it!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share stories from all my travels. I've lived abroad in Rome and Brussels and have traveled all over the US, calling 10 different cities my temporary home while on a work assignment.

I'm a great listener and a great friend that loves hearing and sharing good stories and laughs.
