I'm a female Mechanical Engineer who graduated from the University of Portland last year. This year I am living in Stuttgart for my Fulbright, working as a research and teaching assistant at Uni Stuttgart. Next year I will be moving to Pasadena to start grad school at Caltech.
In terms of my personality, I am silly, loud, and outgoing. I am serious about my schoolwork, but I also make time to relax and hang out with friends. When I am with my friends I am really laid-back, and cracking a lot of jokes.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am completely new to Couch Surfing.
Outside of my scientific work, I usually spend my time in more creative ways. I enjoy painting and making beaded jewelry. Baking is also a big hobby of mine. I worked as a baker for 4 years in college and still bake on the side. I am a better baker than I am a chef, but I am always trying out new recipes to improve my cooking skills. Sport-wise, I love playing volleyball. I played throughout high school and off an on in college. Now I play for a German team at Uni Stuttgart. During the school year I like to volunteer as a math/science tutor, and in Germany I'm an English conversation tutor. In the summer, one of my favorite things to do is to go berry picking.
Music, Movies, and Books
Parks and Recreation is my favorite TV Show of all time.
