Music, Movies, and Books

I don't even know where to start, so, here is a bit of everything that is coming to mind: Little Miss Sunshine, The Hobbit (the book), Mumford & Sons, Florence + The Machine, The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, Doctor Who, Flannery O'Connor, Finding Nemo...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 16 I went to England for the first time. About a day after I got there it sank in that I was on a different continent, my feet standing and walking on Earth that was totally new to me. I was excited beyond words. It was life changing.

One night, when I was going to school in Pennsylvania, I left the computer lab at about 3am. I stumbled up the steps and out into the night to find the entire campus blanketed in fluffy white snow that twinkled in the light of the street lamps with the snow was still gently coming down. It was such a profound stillness and silence that I had not experienced before, it felt like I was in another land, in another time. The only thing that stirred in that stillness and silence was a small family of deer running towards the woods, and the crunch of my boots in the snow.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to listen, learn, and expand my understanding. Oh, and I enjoy cooking too. I don't know if that is much to offer, but there you go.
