About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Get Up And GO!

ABOUT ME

I am very easy going, spontaneous, and open to all kinds of experiences. I like to go out and about but I´m also very, relaxed calm, and respectful. Most of all I think that I am flexible and adaptable and have an enthusiastic attitude about life.

PHILOSOPHY

"life is what you make it"

"prepare for tomorrow, but live in the now"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am very new to CS, I have just been introduced to the organization, but I am excited to participate and experience the CS community.

I am currently living with a host family in Spain, so I can't host but I'm always available for a cup of coffee and I have a lot of friends in the area who could maybe help with a couch : )

When I return to the United States I would love to host travelers passing through the DC area!

Interests

In my spare time I like to run, read, and I´m always interested in trying new things.

This trip in Spain I am currently undertaking has really opened my eyes to so many new things. It has certainly made me very interested to travel, and more specifically live in other countries in the future. I would love to learn a bit of French and I think when I return to the United States I will pursue this interest with some classes or on my own.

Additionally I would love to travel in South America (all of it!). I have made a couple trips to Honduras, Costa Rica and Mexico but I have never made it South of Latin America and I would love to do so in the future.

Music, Movies, and Books

Hemingway, Faulkner, Brandon Mull (Fablehaven series), Christopher Paolini (Inheritance Cycle), Nick Hornby, Carlos Ruiz Zafon, Khaled Hosseini, and I loved loved loved "The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao" by Junot Díaz

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I´m living my dream right now! Living in Spain!

I have done some cool things but I haven't traveled NEARLY as much as I'd like to. I've been around Costa Rica and Honduras and all of the best experiences I've had in other countries have always been when I've lived with other families. The personal relationships I've been able to build throughout my travels have impacted me more than any sole activity.
