About Me

Dance, France, Revolution!

I'm gettin' out!
I love Toronto, but I need a change of scenery; an adventure. So I'm getting a Visa and moving to France, land of love, lights and Ed Banger records. I would be HONOURED to stay on your couch!

I'm just looking to make something interesting out of life; make some deep running connection with people and get some different outlooks on life, art and things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

None to date -- YOU COULD BE THE FIRST!

Film and Music above all. Film is what I'm planning on doing with my life, and music is like my mistress with whom I sleep extramaritally. I like the electronic scene, but really I'll jam with anyone (I play bass, guitar, drums, keys, laptop, all with varying degrees of skill). Ultimately though I'm all about art, in whatever form it takes.

Music, Movies, and Books

FILMS: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Amèlie, Lost in Translation, Science of Sleep, Little Miss Sunshine, Primer, All the Real Girls, Before Sunset (and Before Sunrise), Punch-Drunk Love, The Squid and the Whale, The 25th Hour, Wicker Park, City of God.

MUSIC: Anything off the Arts & Crafts label, including Broken Social Scene, Feist, Phoenix, New Buffalo. A lot of the Ed Banger Records label, like Justice, Sebastien, Kavinsky. I also like The Dears, The Arcade Fire, !!! (Chk Chk Chk), LCD Soundsystem, Fujiya & Miyagi, and countless others.

BOOKS: Slaughter House Five, 5th Business, Catcher in the Rye. I've been trying to bulk up on my reading lately.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once saw a pile of BONES in a CAVE!!! I was young and it frightened me, so I made for the exit.

Teach, Learn, Share

1) How to make a paper airplane that flies like the wind.

2) How to make music with a laptop and a synthesizer.

3) A dance called the Harlem Shake.
