I'm on a journey into SOuth America with my touring bike. I plan to rendezvous with some friends in Ecuador or Peru. Im also interested in doing some organic farming via the WWOOF program. I have no set schedule but i plan on moving around quite a bit.
Im a subtle extrovert with leanings towards neo-pagansim and galactic crystal space jams. I'm a musician and student. I work at a record store/bar and when i'm not getting folks wasted and putting funk and soul in their ears i love riding my bike. I have recently gotten into bike touring/camping. I also have interest in organic farm practices and am a member of the WWOOF organization. I plan to travel South America by bike and bus making stops along the way. when i run out of money i plan to do work trade at a small organic farm. I want to live simply, meet new folks, play music, and do some things i've never done before.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I will be in Portland until late July early august when i plan to embark to south america. In the meantime i want to be a resource for folks traveling through this wonderful city. I have a solid foundation of friends and resources here that will make you feel welcome during your stays. In addition i hope that i can meet some new folks willing to host me while i'm abroad. I also have ambitions to start an organization that uses bike tours as a means of raising money for charitable causes. I hope to make new connections and find inspiration for this project along my journeys and i hope that couch surfing can be a vehicle for this research.
I've slept on many a couch in my time whether it be during the course of travel or to avoid my own bed. I dont know if you can call it couch surfing or not but i lived with a family in Costa Rica for a month during high school. I learned how a family that has so little is teming with love and generosity. I also learned a small bit about pig farming from my host father.

Teach, Learn, Share
I love talking about music and i have a rich source of knowledge when it comes to jazz history. I love introducing folks to new kinds of music just as much as i love learning about new music. I would love to learn anything and everything about bikes, bike maintenance, sustainable living, throat singing, fabrication of any sort, guitar skills, acting.
