ABOUT ME

LOVE to travel, LOVE people, LOVE music, LOVE the outdoors. Love Burlington, except for the non-stop cloudiness that we live under for most of the year.(love the sun) I've been around the world. I read a lot. I think I want to go back to school for alternative medicine/therapy or something of that nature.

PHILOSOPHY

I love life, it is fun and difficult and crazy. Sometimes i think the human race as a whole has it all wrong, thats why i like stuff like this website, and burlington and humboldt county, CA. i think we have gotten so far from our connection to the Earth that it has hurt us spiritually. Ever read the Te of Piglet? I loved that book. It said a lot for me. I love helping people that need help.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just heard of this cool thing from some customers at my store. THey were very friendly and told me about it and invited me to go for a hike. Unfortunatley, I couldn't make it. Despite the cold and snow in april they said they were going to persevere.

Okaayyy... seriously, anything by Tom Robbins, the Te of Piglet/Tao of Pooh, too, war stories fascinate me (The Things They Carried by Tim O'Brien, Robert McNamara's book about the Vietnam war), Buddhist books by Pema Chodron, Thich Nhat Hanh, Phil Lesh's book, "Running with Scissors"...etc... Grateful Dead I adore. Toubab Krewe, Yonder Mountain String Band, Hot Buttered Rum, Chris Thile, Crooked Still, String Cheese Incident, Miles Davis, Phish, Jerry Garcia, David Grisman, Bela Fleck and the Flecktones. One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In Cambodia I went to angkor Watt, really neat old temples.
