I'm a student from Sydney travelling around the US over the next 7 months, get in on it!!!

I know it sounds very cliche but I honestly live by the mantra work hard play harder. I believe that within limits we work primarily to sustain ourselves and so we can enjoy ourselves, help others and share experiences with others. I'm big on travelling to meet new people and to experience what I haven't before, I'm a bit of a foodie for this reason - only recently I went on a short trip with my girlfriend and a few other uni mates to Melbourne, where we spent 4 days trying out a myriad of cuisine such as popular cafes for brunch, coffee shops down alleyways, japanese sashimi, mexican tapas, creperies (crepes), asian fusion, piping donuts and much more! There's nothing better than enjoying good food with good company in a new city where between meals you can explore the hidden parts of the city, embrace the culture and enjoy what the rest of the world has to offer!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

During the Fall semester of 2015, I'll be embarking on a student exchange in Pennsylvania. Before and after the semester, I'm going to try and visit a few old friends, make some new ones and see as much of the US as it has to offer. I love new experiences and was recommended by a friend to try out Couchsurfing!

Music, Movies, and Books

I used to love rock and roll, and even learnt a handful of songs such as Sweet Child O' Mine, Purple Haze, House of the Rising Sun and Kryptonite on guitar. I listen to house music more so now (electronic dance music) such as Avicii, Lost Frequencies, Tiesto, Afrojack. Earlier this year I attended my first music festival called Future where Avicii, Martin Garrix, Afrojack, Robin Shulz, Darude and many other artists played!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Snorkled in the Great Barrier Reef when I was in primary school. The next most amazing thing I'll do is spend 5 months abroad at a university in Pennsylvania for a study abroad program, with an additional 1 month of lone travel.
