CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is to travel around, and get to know America, and allow people who want to do the same to have a nice place to sleep if in the area. Eventually, I would like to continue to travel abroad and see more new places!

ABOUT ME

Well, I work when I can and I travel when I can. I love to see new places, and currently I am working on seeing many places here in America that I have not been to. I have spent a lot of time in Central and South America, and a little time in Europe. I hope to spend more time in both places as soon as I can. I'm 27 years old, and I think I'm a good guy ! I like to do volunteer work as much as I can, better than real work, and I am planning on going to the Peace Corps in a year or so. After that my tentative plan is law school but really who knows. For now I want to see things that I have never seen, do things I've never done, and meet people I'd normally not meet otherwise. This is a great service for like-minded people to help each other out!

PHILOSOPHY

I feel the need to help others and contribute to the world and your community. I want to do this type of work, something in the field, so I continue to move towards that. Also, I like to live as simply as possible.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I do have a pretty nice place for people to stay, and would love to get to meet and help out fellow travelers. I, like many people here I assume, am on a tight budget when traveling, and that is what makes this so great. People travel for new experiences and this opens up new opportunities in many ways. I'd be happy to help out anyone coming my way, and think it's great that there are people out there who would also participate in a service like this.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Never on this site... but many times people have stayed in my extra room or on my couch, from friends to friends of friends to friends of relatives. Whoever is in my area and asks around usually finds out that I am a good person to contact. I have also been lucky enough to stay with friends in all different places, NYC, Atlanta, Chile, Guatemala. etc... for various amounts of time.

Interests

Well of course I love to travel and new experiences. I have a dog and cats I spend a lot of time with. I rarely travel with them, especially on long trips such as my current one. They are very happy and well taken care of while I am gone. I love movies, reading, and music like everyone else. I don't watch much TV.... hmmm.

I'll enjoy any movie pretty much, I love film.
Same with books and music. I can't list because I have so many different interests.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been to lots of nice places in Chile and Guatemala. I spent a lot of time there and was able to travel with locals and meet a lot of people. I was introduced to a lot throughout my lifetime in Guatemala and Chile, and I feel I was able to have an influence on some people there as well. And other smaller trips, such as quick trips to Europe and Canada.
