ABOUT ME

Where do we start? First of all, whilst we are a couple and would like to partake in CouchSurfing together, we're both individuals, and very different people. It seems that when travelling as a couple you do have to put in the extra effort to meet new people as they wrongly assume we're honeymooning or stuck in eachothers pockets. Nelly is the talkative one, who can strike up a conversation with anyone, whereas Nath is more reserved (not after a couple of drinks though).
We've been together for over 10 years now, and travel extremely well together (have both tried traveling with others, but it never goes as well).
We both love adventure, and can easily say that the 4 months we spent back packing through South America were the most adventurous and just plain fun times ever (but we're not dwelling on the past too much, and we don't believe that the best is behind us). Looking forward to meeting some great people through CS.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We're very new to CouchSurfing, however have partaken in WWOOFing (volunteer work on farms)before and have had wonderful experiences each time!

Interests

Exploring London (our temporary home, especially Brixton where we live), we love to try different cuisines (our latest fave is Caribbean food),travelling as much as we can whilst living so close to Europe, anything that involves the outdoors (camping, skiing, hiking etc), but we also love city breaks. Nelly loves film & live music, Nath loves his sport (ask him anything about Australian Rules Football), we both love coffee and wine equally (not together though).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The Inca Trail to Machu Pichu, the most rewarding hike ever, when we arrived at the puerta del sol, it was breathtaking.
Also, Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeroes gig at the Old Vic Tunnels in London. Singing along with the band after the gig, abandoned train tunnels and free milk and cookies equal an awesome night.
