ABOUT ME

I'm 24...moved to Barcelona in September 2008. I taught english in a primary school and I loved it! However, I found myself more passionate about the medical field and am going back for a second degree in nursing and moved back to NY this year! I am all for making new friends from EVERYWHERE and expanding my knowledge of cultures inside and outside of the USA. I love live music, good conversations, dancing, practical jokes, and having a good time no matter where I am.

I've never hosted fellow couchsurfers, usually bc I had friends/family visiting on a steady basis, or I was traveling myself... oh yeah, work too :(

Music, Movies, and Books

Just finished reading The Last Lecture, currently reading Eat Pray Love- it's gotten so many accolades I figure I should check it out- Are you there, Vodka? It's me, Chelsea, My Horizontal Life- currently working on Handler's newest release, Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang...classics include To Kill a Mockingbird and The Catcher in the Rye... Music- I grew up with parents that listened to everything from The Beatles, to Clapton, to Bob Marley, Etta James, Nina Simone, ... add that to my generation, you can say I love all genres... Movies- there are so many, I love drama/thriller yet you'd hate to watch them with me bc I can never sit still/shut up. I love anything with Will Farrell bc I have an extremely immature sense of humor... I dunno- I can't sum all of my likes/dislikes on the spot, talk to me and figure me out for yourself :)
