Hello people!
I’m a student from Turkey and currently an Erasmus student in Italy. My department is mainly about fashion and textile design. As like in all art disciplines if you need to improve yourself in fashion design you need to find inspiration from different cultures,art history and other departments like photography, literature and cinema. Photography which i’m trying to learn and getting lessons more than six mouths is one of my biggest passion that I always wanted to improve myself in this section. Also learning different cultures and meeting new people from all over the world is a great opportunity for me, that’s why i’m in love with traveling and meeting new friends. In the period of Erasmus I had so much chance to see new countries and meeting great friends from different cultures. Now I want to make more friends in the times that I travel and also be a host for the people who needs a place to stay and someone to give them information about the city that I live.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really like alternative rock, indie and even if it’s looking weird with these two also classic music :)

In cinema i have some favorite directors like Hitchcock, Kubrick ,Francis Ford Coppola, Brian De Palma, Yavuz Turgul and Damien Chazelle. If I had to choose one favorite movie that would be Whiplash because of the feelings that I felt when I watched that movie. I also like animation movies, cartoons and animes. I watched almost all movies of Hayao Miyazaki(he has an amazing imagination) and i’m still watching One Piece which is my favorite anime.

When it comes to books reading is like a necessity more than a regular habit for me. I can’t dream a life without books. I like to read scientific books and also literature. As a Turkish person I really like Turkish literature especially poetry. And from the world I really like Russian and Italian literature. My favorite writers are Dostoyevsky, Gogol, Italo Calvino and Yusuf Atilgan.
