About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To enrich my life and the lives of those I meet with learning and sharing life experiences, travel experiences and goodwill.

ABOUT ME

I have two wonderful kids, the best daughter-in-law ever, four beautiful grandsons and one precious granddaughter (yes, they are spoiled rotten). I have a dog, Zoe, and two cats, Kiki and Fat Willie. I live in Chattanooga, I'm about 8 minutes from downtown Chattanooga. I love to travel and will go anywhere I get the chance to go, lol. I've been around the states a pretty good bit and last year I took my first over seas trip. I went to Germany to visit with my son who is in the Air Force. While I was there we traveled around Germany and to Paris and Versailles. I enjoyed going so much that I am already planning my next trip over. I work during the week but would be willing to host someone as long as you won't feel neglected if I don't have a lot of time to socialize. I'm off on the weekends but usually have at least one of my grandkids. So, anyone wanting to surf with me would have to be accepting of pets and kids! Anyone that is wanting to visit this area would definitely need a car to drive as the only public transportation is between the downtown area and the malls. There is lots to see and do in this area, especially if you are a nature enthusiast. We have the aquarium, the IMAX, Childrens Discovery Musuem, Hunter Museum, National Medal of Honor Museum, Houston Museum, and the Chattanooga History Center that is all located in the downtown area. There is also a movie theatre and many restaurants. Just about any kind of food you could want. There is also the Southern Bell Riverboat that does lunch, sightseeing and dinner cruises and the Blue Moon Cruise. There are plenty of hiking trails and there is a place where you can rent kayaks or paddleboards if you want to go out on the water.
